Jumpstart this?

Hi guys, don't know which one of you guys still checks back here regularly. Hope you guys still enjoy rabid gaming as much as I do :)

Anyway, quick status report on this blog: I've updated one of the links in the Game List. DotaPortal is no longer active after the owner of the site, ESNations went broke, and the DP admin [FatalError] set up a new site - Fanatic Networks. The link has been changed to reflect the new website. It's a pretty cool site, catering for fans of DotA, Heroes of Newerth, Starcraft II and the upcoming Diablo III. Check it out if you like discussing new strategies with fellow gamers!

AFA 09 Updates

Ok, as mentioned in the latest post in my blog, I've managed to secure a ticket (Row A Seat 7, front row ticket ^_^) to the first day (21st, Saturday) of the I Love Anisong concert, which means I'll be catching Ichirou Mizuki, Shoko Nakagawa, and of course, Hatsune Miku, my main reason for going. Now all that's left is to collect the concert ticket from God-Knows-Where in KL, work out the bus ticket to Singapore, lodging details with my friend in Singapore, and packing up.

It is still a month away, but since I'm in a good mood from getting such a good seat, I want to ask if anyone wants me to get anything in particular at AFA09. Anime-related merchandise, T-Shirts, autographs (there will be an autograph session with the artistes, namely Ichirou Mizuki, Shoko Nakagawa, May'n, Yoshiki Fukuyama, and perhaps, somehow, Hatsune Miku), photographs of specific things, anything that's reasonable. Ask away and I'll try my best to fulfill the request =D.

Oh, and any fans of K-On! might be interested to know that the Q&A submission site for the K-On! Live Experience is up at the official site. So submit any questions and I'll be sure to take note if it is answered =D

Anime Festival Asia 2009

Link : http://www.afa09.com/index.html

With the announcement that Hatsune Miku will perform live at the I Love Anisong concert, I've decided to attend both days of the event despite all the inconveniences.

Just spreading the news in case anyone wants to go =D

I have a personal plan of travel, lodging , etc that involves a friend in Singapore. However, he can't accommodate more than 2 extra people, and I'm already traveling with another friend. So if anyone wants to go, you'll have to plan on your own I guess =/.

I'll be sure to bring back lots of photos though =)

MessengerAmp vs Toaster

Winamp + Live Messenger

A couple of days back I posted this on my blog regarding plugins to show the Now Playing song for Live Messenger. Then JH suggested another one, MessengerAmp.
After trying both, I've come to a conclusion. MessengerAmp is less versatile than Toaster - cos Toaster can display most of the Unicode stuff on Messenger, whereas MessengerAmp can't. This decided my vote, since I listen to Korean/Jap/Chinese songs with those characters embedded in the song title or the artist name. And I hate to see "????" displayed as my PM. [perfectionist at work]

More tech stuff should come up on this blog soon, as soon as my exams are over and I can get down to learning HTML properly.

Feeling Nostalgic

Watching and reading Lucky Star has made me realized something.

I really miss my Form 3 days, the days of the 3B2 Four Big Sky Kings.

Good... no, GREAT times. Completely crazy, random, and best of all, I truly enjoyed myself back then, something I very rarely experience.

Just felt like saying that. My thanks to the other 3 members of the group (you know who you are)

*At this rate, I might as well re-start my blog (=ω=)*

Word of thanks

I'd like to thank everyone who remembered March 17th. I appreciate it =)

It's not much of a day this year though, I was screwing myself over trying to jack up my BitComet download rate the whole day, while studying for exams and eating Pocky sticks and Twisties =_=

But hey, could've been worse, at least I didn't spend the day in a hospital.

Cheers, and thanks again!
