#1. History

The Necrolyte Rotund'jere had a necromancer wizard brother, Robust'jeh, who delved deeply into the secrets of life and death. On one of Robust'jeh's journeys through Azeroth, he discovered a scythe made of a living metal. Experiments on the scythe showed that it could slowly corrupt the soul of any living thing, reducing the scythed unit's lifespan. Robust'jeh christened his discovery the LifeScythe. Ironically, he was slewed with the LifeScythe in a scuffle in a tavern near the Pandaren homeland.
